Come As You Are

Mid Ulster Pride is delighted to be partnering with Glasgowbury and the Cornstore Creative Hub to present Come As You Are! Come As You Are is an evening of chat and fun where you can relax and be yourself in a safe, welcoming environment. Mid Ulster Pride was established to address the lack of LGBTQ+ community building in Mid Ulster, and to help reduce rural isolation among the LGBTQ+ community. 

Our members will be at the Cornstore Creative Hub to chat about anything and everything, we will be happy to answer questions anyone might have about being LGBTQ+, the wider LGBTQ+ community, sexual health, mental health, or even just what our favourite flavour of crisps are. At Come As You Are we encourage you to be your authentic self, whether that means letting us know your chosen pronouns, preferred name, or maybe even wearing something you feel you normally couldn’t, we aren’t here to judge. We want to create a space where you can feel heard and seen as you want to be. The evening will be very informal, we’ll chat, throw some music on in the background, maybe even do some karaoke. All that matters is that you feel comfortable existing in a space where you can be yourself and truly Come As You Are!
