The Big Parade

Mid Ulster Pride invites you to attend our second annual Pride march which will take place in Cookstown, County Tyrone.

The march will begin at Fairhill where we encourage you and your family to come along and enjoy some special festivities currently being organised. We will then embark on a march through Cookstown's main street showcasing what will be a spectacular and colourful display of love and celebration.

Our parade, which is primarily aimed at celebrating lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, non-binary and queer social self acceptance, also aims to highlight the inequalities within our society. Our existence should not be a contentious issue for anybody and we deserve to be treated equally. Yet we are to expect Catholic Action and the Presbyterian Church to picket our hard fought achievements and promotion of love and acceptance which is exactly why marches like these around the world are important. 

We need your help and support so come along and show those who seek to silence us that love wins every time. We welcome you to come and enjoy what we promise to be an exciting day out.
